Trek Speed Concept SLR, Émonda SLR, Bontrager Aeolus RSL VR-C

Hazard
The carbon fiber handlebars can crack, posing fall and crash hazards to riders.

MY 2022 Speed Concept SLR (all stock & P1 colorways, variants: SLR 6 eTap, SLR 7, SLR 7 eTap, SLR 9, SLR 9 eTap); MY 2021–2022 Émonda SLR (all stock & P1 colorways, variants: SLR 6, SLR 6 eTap, SLR 7, SLR 7 eTap, SLR 8, SLR 9, SLR 9 eTap); and MY 2020–2022 Bontrager Aeolus RSL VR-C handlebar/stems sold as aftermarket components — all feature carbon fiber handlebars and Trek is printed on the bicycle frame.
What to do
Consumers should immediately stop riding the recalled bikes or using the aftermarket handlebar/stems and contact their local authorized Trek retailer for a free repair.
